My name's Erin (e-mail is elone044@uottawa.ca) and I'm a first-year commerce student taking micro and macro economics, application of information technology, linear algebra, financial accounting and German this semester. I work part time as a guest services representative at a downtown hotel. I sail competitively on both coasts, as well as lake Ontario. I enjoy reading, long walks on the beach and intimate sunsets. My focus within commerce is international management, and in my third year I plan on doing my two-semester exchange in Switzerland, where I have family and hold citizenship. Hopefully, if I enjoy it there and I don't butcher the German language too terribly I can live and work in Switzerland permanently.
I chose Hindu and Buddhist Artworks for my theme because I love the vibrant colours and exotic, alluring culture in the images and scripture passages. Personally, I am not religious, however, I am extremely interested in the stories and morals behind different observances, especially Hinduism and Buddhism. The pages in this wiki include a photo gallery of Hindu and Buddhist artworks of past and present, information on Buddhist culture and the subsequent sculptures, drawings and paintings, information on many known Hindu gods and goddesses with their images, and information on the Hindu art of yoga and Hindu museum research. I hope you enjoy my wiki! If you don't,
